Ep140 5 Simple ways to calm your mind in under 5 minutes
The last 2 years have been challenging for a lot of people, myself included.
I wanted to share with you simple ways to calm the mind and be more aware of our thoughts because we can't control what goes on around us, but we can control how we respond.
And that's where the power lies. If we can build trust within ourselves, within our bodies, we can take back control of our lives.
I have in place some simple practices that instantly bring me back into the present moment.
Often when we are stressed, we are thinking about the future (and, more often than not, the worst-case scenario.) If we can identify if we are beginning to feel anxious, how can we regain perspective and create calm within our bodies?

- The power of getting out in nature
- Making myself a healthy tea or juice and reading a few pages of a self-help book
